About & FAQ.
What is Submission.Directory?
It is a curated list of website submission sites, which are the best places to submit your website, startup, or product. You will find launch platforms, startup and SaaS directories, AI tool directories, maker and developer communities, design galleries, and blogs that accept guest posts. Every listing shows its Domain Rating, so you can start with the highest-authority sites instead of guessing.
How do I submit my website to these directories?
Open any listing and use the Visit button to go straight to that site's own submission page. We link to each website's homepage rather than a deep submission URL, because those links tend to move around. Most submission sites simply ask for your URL, a short description, and a category.
Are these free submission sites?
Plenty of them are. Each listing is tagged free, freemium, or paid, so you can filter for free website submission sites when that is all you need. We keep the paid options in because they often have a higher Domain Rating or send more traffic.
What is Domain Rating (DR)?
Domain Rating is a 0 to 100 score that estimates how strong a website's backlink profile is. A higher number usually means a more authoritative domain. Treat it as a guide rather than a guarantee, since relevance and whether a link is dofollow or nofollow matter just as much.
Do dofollow and nofollow links matter?
Dofollow links can pass authority to your site, while nofollow links usually do not. Even so, a nofollow placement on a high-traffic site like Product Hunt or Hacker News is well worth it for the visitors and exposure alone.
Why are some sites flagged 'badge required'?
On those sites, a free listing only stays live if you embed their badge or a link back on your own website. It is a reciprocal trade, so we flag it and let you decide whether it is worth it rather than hiding it.
